My name is Tyler and I'm based out of Anchorage, AK. I currently run a photo studio that focuses on product photography and shoot outdoor/adventure lifestyle photos for a variety of companies like La Sportiva, Darn Tough, Lion Power, and Deuter in addition to my landscape and stock nature/outdoor photography.
I'm looking expand into outdoor/adventure video projects.
I have my AVY 1, WFA, have guided backpacking and snowshoeing trips, and was volunteer Search and Rescue. I've hiked the 1200 mile Pacific Northwest Trail (my photo made the cover of the 2018 guidebook), cycled 3200 miles from Seattle to NJ in 31 days, backpacked through the Pyrenees along the French and Spanish border, and am currently training for bikepacking with my dog in a trailer.
I spent a few years in the early 2010's working in the Video Sales Department at Glazer's Camera, in Seattle, where I was able to develop a wide breadth of technical knowledge of modern video-capable DSLRs, Canon's entire video line, audio recorders, and much more. I also spent a lot of time working on improving my still photography and sharpening my compositional eye.
Before my time at Glazer's Camera, and after graduating from the Art Institute of Seattle, I spent a few years freelancing, predominantly as a camera op with a fair share of editing, and some minor producing work as well.
